Whats with the chick wearing an eyepatch??
the Rat is less about criminality per se but the importance and sheer fun of using one's intellect, skill and willpower to carve a survival niche into whatever inhospitable environment one finds oneself. Damn the imposed morality of the overlords. F

I haven't been to a lot of nice places where they dont' have wars. The Tamils wanted me to come to Sri Lanka but I just never made it.

Ireland, Scotland, Tasmania, Most of the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and the boring parts of Asia

I think I have never been to Nebraska.

I thought you were in a demolition derby in Nebraska during one of your TV shows a while back.

That could explain the lack of memory

I have lived here all of my life - you are not missing a thing.

What part? I was thinking about trying to get sent to Omaha but its not in the cards this go around. Still seems like a nice place compared to some of my options.

I live north of Omaha in the country, but I work in Omaha. To be honest, Omaha is a good place to live - its cheap, never really have to deal with traffic (not a gridlock every morning like some cities), overall the people are pretty nice, anywhere you live in Omaha is close to anywhere else in Omaha - 20 mins from one side to other, its cheap, and theres actually quite a few pretty good places to eat. The problem is there is just nothing to do,nothing to see, and the weather is either 103 degrees with 100 percent humidity, or -3 degrees with a foot of snow.

Oh, and its cheap.

sKunk,
I'm from Kansas so your gonna have to work pretty hard to bore me. What I need is about 180 acres with a farm pond to leases for hunting and fishing and that will take care of it. Oh, and did I mention I am cheap?

Other than the current fire problems, why move from Colorado ? It's one of the prettiest states with pleasant, outdoorsy people and tons of stuff to do not to mention microbrews up the wazoo.

I have a former AF friend that was in Omaha and he pretty much said the same thing as sKunk - no traffic, very cheap, very boring. And he was a guy that didn't mind boring but I think even he was happy to get out of there.

Time to roll in spring 2013. I did an assignment with a deployment, and then scored a seat in the Advanced Civil Schooling program. I'll be graduating with a masters in applied geography; my thesis will be covering wildlife population estimates utilizing high spatial resolution commercial imagery. As for Colorado Springs, its Topeka Kansas, but with mountains in the distance. I don't ever need to go fishing with my kids and see another douche bag with a $1200 fly rod, another $1000 dollars in waders and gear stare at me because I am in his favorite parking place (did I mention he is probably driving a Porsche). I'd rather catch blue gills with a Zebco 202 than consort with that kind of bull shit. Colorado isn't all it’s cracked up to be. I rode more and had more fun in Augusta Georgia than I have here.
