Its born in the United States or a foriegn born citizen to at least one parent who is a US Citizen.

So even if Obama was born in Kenya his mother was a US citizen so that makes the whole thing even sillier in claiming he faked a birth certificate that did not even need to be faked.

It might be Bush in the race but Clinton won't make it past the primary. She has a few bits of baggage among the Democrats. One is that during 2008 she and criminal / adulterer John Edwards were recorded complaining about Obama and the other primary candidates, being baffled how they could be "allowed" the same time as them. People do not forget that a two term president was one of the people they found insignificant. If Clinton wins the primary, the Dems blown away.

Jeb Bush, probably a sensible choice...except that his brother is still pretty much hated and the fact that lately Republicans have done really poor with "sensible". The republican party has such a large fringe that if politics was table settings the Republicans would be a giant doily. These, mostly stupid, people are easy to distract and easy to whip in line but they gotta have their crazy fed and Jeb is not the person to feed it.

I would agree with your analysis Kurt, but as we know most mericans have a very short ( or selective) memory . I believe the Democats are so enamored with the Clintons they can't or won't field a better candidate.
I find the Bushes odious, but Jeb the least so.
