I know Snaark is not in Oz anymore but on behalf of America I would like to congratulate you on finding a bigass, cool trapdoor spider.
If trapdoor spiders were not cool enough already.

Ahh the old Euoplos dignitas

Which is ironic, because we all know that nothing about the Europeans is dignified.

When I was a kid we used to find them on the bottom of the swimming pool. Sometimes you'd fish them out thinking they were dead and they'd come back to life. I think they somehow trap air in their hairs so they can breathe underwater. The ones in our corner of Oz weren't that big though.
