Great site. I also visited the BAAG site linked to from there. Good stuff. It looks like I can do my visa in Delhi, so I should be able to make Afghanistan soon.

Thanks Slam. NIJ when you going? Visas are easy as pie in Peshawar if you feel a need to get out of India. Rodeo in New Delhi is a great place for Tex Mex BTW.

hey Cold, i think Dawn is going in mid october if you guys will still be around. i am sure she would like the company. alas, Ariana has priced me out of the trip. almost 1K RT from Istanbul, plus my discount on Delta is gone to get to Istanbul, so no Afghanistan for me this year. which SUCKS. but there is always next year.....

I don't know where I'm staying yet. I'll be in Kabul for a few days and then heading for the central route. Any recommendations on accomadations?

Mustafa or Intercontinental. i would recommend Mustafa as it is cheaper and has a restaraunt and a bar (or it did when i was there in '03). decent food too.
