Turning in steep descents in vertical flight mode can produce an effect known as a 'ring vortex state', causing loss of lift and control and resulting in a toxic $40+ mil funeral pyre for all aboard. Also, 24 combat equipped troops become a bottlenecked clusterfuck trying to unass this aircraft in the timeframe required in the real world.

It would however make a just bitchin' camper. Lessee now, 26 thousand pounds of payload- that's my Toyota, a Zodiac, several 55 gal drums of fuel, a coupla ATVs, a coupla scoots, a pallet of beer, a gun safe, a hot tub, the dogs, a freezer full of moose and salmon, a propane grill set up on the open aft ramp while cruising at 8,000 feet with a view of a gorgeous sunset...
