Fucking French!!

Any idiot knows that using live fluffy bunnies is WAY more successful than using live dogs.

funny how the Sun (unlike our local papers) doesn't mention the 15000 or so stray dogs that roam Réunion.

Kinda puts things into perspective IMO

Hey I am not fan of PETA, but if you want to use them for bait kill the first. Strays should be put down, but not with hooks in their snout and drug after a boat. Penta?

I guess if dogs are good enough for the Vietnamese, they're good enough for sharks too.

And here's another French dog story...... Underneath guillotine platforms during the revolution a medical operating table was set up with doctors standing by.

Freshly severed heads would be tossed to the doctors below. Then French doctors would chop the head off a dog and surgically splice blood vessels and arteries from the dog body to the human head to see how long they could keep it alive.

Its been said they could keep human heads alive with eyes blinking for up to six hours.

Eh, uh, this is kinda off topic... but looking at that picture... If they trolled the dog behind a boat, wouldn't those hooks just rip out of his lips in a minute?
Eh?

I'm guessing the frenzied splashing and whimpering attracts sharks.

The French venerate dogs, and it looks to be a single isolated incident:

Arrest over shark dogs

A MAN has been arrested by cops probing the use of live dogs as shark bait, it was revealed last night.
It comes a day after The Sun published horrific photos of a pup with a fishing hook through its snout.

Cops on French-controlled Reunion Island say a man will appear in court tomorrow. And last night the French Embassy vowed to target more rogue fishermen.

It said: “Such acts are illegal and intolerable.”

Animal welfare group Sea Shepherd will pay £680 to any cop who catches a fisherman baiting a dog.

I suspect that was a real let down for everyone unfolding the pre-scripted "France sucks" rants.

Nasty stuff, not sure if many of you have seen it, but in italy they use stray cats for giant canal catfish bait.
