Air Couriers

Has anyone had any experience with Air Courier services? Are these people (http://www.aircourier.org) scammers or does it really work if you're willing to travel carry-on only?

I wasted money signing up to "aircourier.org" in the past. The courier flights were extremely limited...and only from LA or NY to Asian cities typically. They also aren't free...discounted yes but often it didn't appear by very much. You might find a super duper deal in there somewhere but my general opinion is it is a waste and not worth it.
