Explain gay porn. Who is that oppressing?
While I'm on board with things like child porn being absolutely atrocious, blaming the porn industry for a problem of this magnitude is like blaming Dr. Thompson for all journalists using drugs. Pornography is a means unto itself which can be used for unfavorable acts of aggression and atavistic savagery. But to blame the pornographers for making movies, even if they are in bad taste or not, is only just that; bad taste. They aren't telling people to kidnap, rape and torment women and children. That's just an unfortunate side effect of our civilization.
And, last time I checked, most women are capable of saying whether or not they want to participate in porn, when approached in a legal capacity. Thinking about it sociologically, who is the one being taken advantage of here; the woman stripping, hooking or acting in pornography or the poor schmuck john being suckered into giving up a usually hefty chunk of change to see/own/ "get a date" with these women's professions?
If a porno production company can be linked to sex slavery, NAMBLA and kidnapping, fry 'em. If not, let them address the market's ever-increasing demand for such materials. Guys like me need our Lesbian Lick-a-thon 4's and Rocco's Eastern Block Adventures. Just don't touch my sock or Vaseline...
