The only thing I rememember about
Big Trouble in Little China
is that it was not
a good year that year for me when it was released.
And I know of only one other good trucking
movie from memory.

I remember going to see Miracle (about
the Soviet hockey team)
and I remember how surprised I was to see
the level of emotional
involvement Kurt lent to
the screen, as prepared as I was to
settle in to view
a really good film, I wasnt prepped at all to
be moved to tears. Im sure its
a sentiment many men feel, which
he no doubt tapped into and spoke to. Its such
a totally good
film. I read about him in hunting/fishing magazine and hes really
the real deal.

Mason Reese (born April 11, 1965 in Los Angeles)[1] was
a child star in numerous television commercials in
the 1970s, particularly for Underwood Deviled Ham. He was somewhat overweight and spoke with
a slight lisp, making him
a very recognizable figure. He has not performed much since
the 1970s.
He was
the subject of
the song "Mason Reese" by Alice Donut on their 1988 debut album, "Donut Comes Alive".
The song reflects on what happens to former child stars.
Reese appeared as himself in
a 1990 short film directed by Brett Ratner called "Whatever Happened to Mason Reese?." [2]
