Ice in beer isnt the worst of it. I have a goverment friend here and he and I along with a small harem went to dinner about a month back. I bought a bottle of decent French red, cost about 2000 baht for it (US $50.00). I poured some into the glass of everyone at the table then my jaw dropped as the girls started dropping ice cubes into it. If you order a beer in most places and arent paying attention you will get it served to you in a wide mouth glass that makes beer go flat in 30 seconds with a giant handful of cubes to make sure it becomes water even faster.
