Its weird how the 2009 Death Pool has become like the BFC's Oracle of Delphi.

Wait...perhaps its because everyone dies and this thread is three years old?

Naw, the Thread is totally psychic I think. I am going to tattoo it on my thigh and wear wispy flowing robes from now on.

Billy Graham probably won't make it this year, I'm writing this from a small enclave where he used to pray and have cocktail parties. Which was later taken over by coke-head winos, followed by rotarians.

I'm wondering who the next maniac evangelical will be.

Chavez and Comrade Fidel look like safe bets.
I'd also like to go for a way out punt and suggest that one of the Euro 2012 footballers will snuff it during the tournament, or perhaps even one of the Olympic athletes. Lots of footie players seem to be diving (permanently) these days. I would once have argued that football violence would be a safe bet for a couple of stiffs, but most of the fans are rather genteel now.

In the same year?! I think that secret Cuban hospital system will keep them alive for years, technically speaking.

True. I'm still waiting for Tito to die.
Tito Jackson, not the Yugo partisan.

i dont see how anything counts if it didnt happen in the year 2009 and why people (excluding me because i have an important and legitimate complaint) are still posting in this thread when previously named ppl die. why does someone dying in the wrong year count for the 2009 prognosticator instead of against him/her. you all (plus the rules of this game) lack coherence and rigor.
