raspberry...

a loud noise of disapproval made by puffing the cheeks, protruding the tongue and tensing the lips before blowing forcefully to create a loud rasping sound accompanied by a thin mist of spittle

Yeah, who ever heard of someone "blowing" a strawberry?

There must be a fetish site dedicated to that one....

hey cold.

putting out fires, harvesting wood, sounds like you put time in in the bush. Down here in this part of Ontario we had a bitch of a summer for skitters. Our backyards about 50 feet deep cedars all around and the bugs would drive you indoors before you gave the burgers the last flip. How do you deal with the bugs up there? Never been in the bush up there but I've heard its a swarm fest.

chop em down? jesus I just planted a row in May! I guess the rationale is I like looking at a hedge more than a fence. But yeah, there skitter condos.

I have a three martin hat from my former life in Alaska. Kind of like miniature sables - beautiful fur (hope there aren't any PETA lurkers on the board....)

just a small note. if a cherry is not a berry than a strawberry is not as well. it is a member of the rose family

I'll cast my vote for Halle Berry, the actress. Quite aesthatically pleasing. Besides, fruit is something you put in cocktails...

Can I vote for Hallie Berry?

Shes one berry I`d like to eat in the wild...or anywhere else for that matter.

Man all you guys from Ontario I would think Blueberries would be the real deal. God I practically lived on them when I was up in the Temagami area doing all manner of wilderness stuff. Nothing beats Blueberry pie, with Strawberry wild or otherwise coming a close second.

Raspberrys have too many seeds and have you ever eaten wild ones only to find it had a stink bug hidden somewhere in the handful you just stuffed into your mouth? Something not soon forgotten.

Canoeing, fishing, wilderness training, stuff like that. It's been quite a few years now but I loved every minute of it. My bro and I might try to get back up there next year some time. Visited a few towns up there. Matachawan, Elk lake, Hosford,Gowganda to name a few.

Best,
