A prediction...

Postby Woodsman » Tue Mar 06, 2012 11:10 pm

I suspect NSA (or other govt security acronym - how many of them are there like 68?) will launch a false flag operation by either shutting down the power grid and blaming it on "anonymous" themselves, or just wait until some coder mods stuxnet into something even higher level and then trace him/her (of course they may wind up in a dead end - without a trace, so to speak) and then of course its anon.

How convenient it was to release the scada hack code? Wow - now anyone who gets code can get a nice tidy blueprint of how to target industrial controllers.

Sweet.

More bullshit to contend with.

yeah man just take 5 deep breaths and a lorazepam. Q went down this way too and this is just bad news for the individual. dont get caught up in the paranoid bullshit too much because, in the end, even if youre right, a solo lonely existence and the health problems associated with it are far more likely and worrisome to your quality of life outcomes than nsa using stuxnet to take down america's powergrid or whatever the nutjob brainvomit theory was that just leaked out of your cranial.

speaking of im about to roll a blunt. royal wraps are the fukn best man.

You are assuming that the NSA could be capable of taking down the powergrid.

I am chill. :). I'm not scared about the loss of power or even loss of anything from the realm of civilization - isn't it the plague of nature anyway? It was just a prediction based on observations. A different choice may be taken, hard to say.

Stay away from the _________pram's unless you really need them.

Powergrids' require linemen and such to keep them going. Although I'm very suspicious of 'smart' grids. I spent the last two days out enjoying a camp fire and clearing fallen branches. My favorite therapy.

That is so remarkably easy I can sum it up in four words: Control of the internet.

Unless US congress passes a bill that gives them the authority to.

I'll just hang tight and see what happens...

Except the rest of the world is probably not going to hand over their communications traffic to the US government. You might like Bruce Schneier.

SOPA...&....ACTA... What will the next one be called & more importantly, under what circumstances will it develop under? BTW, I did browse that guys site & bookmarked it, but so far, I don't see what he's got (so far) on there that would contradict my prediction... However, I did see the real hacker vs. movie hacker comic - reminded me of Mitnick in the 80s. :)

They won't do it. What they will do is get "Anonymous" to do something similar but do so in a controlled environment so they can make arrests and save the day. That group is probably so riddled with informants now it would be easy.

But the group to watch out for in doing fake stuff for fear mongering is the DHS for power grid stuff. They faked a test, reported it as real and then nothing was heard much about it when it was exposed.

(I exposed it here but more important people exposed it elsewhere)
