Penta made people think. For some people that was painful. Thinking about other views seemed to be too painful or difficult for some but allowing people to think things that were not in line with The Establishment was frowned upon.
I don't think the BFC should ban people so easily or for "personal" reasons.

BTW: If I were banned, I'd go away because The BFC just ain't what it used to be. But, if Penta wants to come back she should be invited back as the same old Penta we used to know. We need someone to stir some things up around here and if she is interested she should be invited back. If not, I predict the BFC will continue to wilt until it dries up and blows away.

I am with Bobby and Bronco, I would like to see Penta re-instated with full BFC privileges.

I personally would welcome back any of the posters that seem to have flounced off to the SBB, but I don't miss their personal attacks vs discussion of the topic in a reasoned rational and constructive manner. Cuntfests get old. It is all fun and games until someone gets their eye poked out.

As the old wise man once said "You can never step into the same internet forum twice". I am not sure what is exactly missing beyond the penta-related nonsense. It's not like in recent history this has been the go to place for DP related info. It was the go to place for Penta related flame threads. Now with her and her combatants mostly gone it is necessary to fill the void, not re-hash the most tired debate in the history networked communications. Personally I think its healthier for everyone involved to stay the hell out of here, too much blow back into real world. And the be clear, the Penta wars of 2004 were much more interesting and less fucking toxic than the the 2nd Penta wars which gave me the creeps.

Oh hell let her back already. She has not brought harm to a soul on here. Her being banned (although not driven away, as she frequently appears in chat) was ludicrous and a result of one individual's anger at her, whereas that individual took it upon themselves to gain mod. capabilities to ban her. Enough. It's a silly soap opera mess. So what if Penta is smug, shrill, condescending and rich. At least she is literate and she writes well. I enjoyed reading her posts and arguments, even on those occasions when I didn't agree with her.

I think she has been treated badly and unfairly by a couple folks on this board who are not what they claim to be. Let her back and let the chips fall where they may, and if anyone suffers blowback from reinstating her, then go the hell away. Shunning her is not appropriate and it harshes my mellow.
