We sat on the plane for another two ours as they tried to clear snow off it, sweating in t-shirts, then they announced that the de-icer had run out and the flight was cancelled. I had to ring our ops manager, who got the duty driver out of his maggot to come pick me up - AFTER I walked the length of the KIA approach road just as it started snowing like a cunt again, it was fucking Baltic too, freezing. I got into bed at 4am, and was up at breakfast in the team house amid much hilarity, then back to the airport at 8am to scramble unto another overcrowded Kam Air flight. I upgraded to business from Dubai to London, that made up for it, and got mullered on the way home.
