Black Flag Cafe: Social Media

Postby RYP » Sun Aug 09, 2015 11:19 am

These days the internet flushes more content that it creates. We still need a place to keep cool stuff and meet weird people. We are in the process of shifting over all the numerous sites into one place.

Only one village idiot allowed at one time.

Move all this content to cafe.comebackalive.com/archive . Start fresh with some newfangled multiplaform forum software at cafe.comebackalive.com .

It's going to take DP6 and a "smart device friendly" forum to draw people in.

I'm on to something big.

Money talks, bullshit walks.
I am the object of criticism around the world. But I think that since I am being discussed, then I am on the right track.

It's very interesting to see the direction that the internet is taking as Google becomes Alphabet and social media embodies the elements of a transtheoretical model of change. The most thoughtful and practical article I have seen lately on this came from over the pond, which shows that not all that emerges from academia is a horse's arse.

Facebook page?

Weekly google group chat where we call each other fags?

Annual meet-up/circle jerk?

Examining the timelines of similar media sites makes it fairly easy to determine the direction this board must take to re-inflate the attention bubble:

Pelton must die.

Some of the biggest BFC traffic increases back in the day centered around rumors of RYP being kidnapped or killed. Of course the continuation of current product lines would be very time sensitive and you would really have to get your ducks in a row to capitalize in one fell swoop. Memorial model HEST knives could be selling a couple of years AP (After Pelton). You only get one shot at a successful business transition into death. The only real issue left to decide is how he goes. I'm thinking Penta or the real Allen in the kitchen with a candlestick.

So Robert what's it gonna take to get you into this baby today? *buffs a smudge from funeral home showroom coffin's glossy lacquer finish with sleeve*

You need to get more films out there. Do what VICE Media does but with background research and less skinny jeans.
