the odd thing about Roma was that I was expecting to encounter loads of them backpacking in Romania back in 2007. Saw barely any of them there, just on guy on a bike that was talking at me aimlessly when I was walking through the countryside near Sighorsara.

Italy on the other hand had tons of Roma and tourists.
