Mexican volcanoes

Postby ReptilianKittenEater » Fri Jan 29, 2016 4:23 am

Just got back from climbing a couple of volcanoes....Pico de Orizaba, La Malinche and Cerra Negra. Was supposed to climb Ixta and Nevado del Toluca, but accesses were closed due to the worst winter storm in years. Here are a few pics of or from near the summit of Orizaba and Malinche, with a couple of Popo thrown in. Popo is the one erupting. Don't make me try to spell or pronounce its full name.

Orizaba's shadow produces the effect of the ghost mountain in a couple of pics.
