In a DP: Iditarod mushers attacked by snowmobiler

Postby MJK » Sat Mar 12, 2016 9:21 pm

The big news up North:

https://www.adn.com/article/20160312/on ... arod-trail

Lessee; between the snowmachiners who will take heat and the pet parents who think killing a dog is a capital offense, oh and don't forget the villages dependent on Iditarod based income, whoever did this is gonna be real short on friends. He'll be the first man to get a 10+ year sentence for killing a dog. Or maybe he'll just go thru somebody's wood chipper….

Just awful. I was in Nome one year when the race ended. Pretty amazing athletic feat. Usually the most dangerous thing on the trail is a moose. But this, just crazy sad. Glad he is in custody.

I wasn't having a pop, I was exposing an inner reflection, which like all good publicly uttered inner reflections doesn't reflect too well on the holder. I just can't give a crap about a dog being killed 1000s of miles away from me. Kill my dog though and I'll plough your fields with salt unto the tenth generation. Not that I have one, too dangerous.

Yeah, the DP star count on this is pretty weak. But it was all I had and I wanted to feel included.

Hey, uh, do you think it was inspired by Islamic State?
Probably a good chance, right? I mean those eskimos are pretty fucked up. Perfect ground for IS to expand their califate. I'm betting they had something to do with it.

RISE OF THE SNOW MACHINES

Todd Palin had an accident with one too.

Do Canadians call them Snow Machines or Snowmobiles? Seems like it might be an Alaskan word. I grew up in Wisconsin and a Snow Machine was something very different, it made snow for ski slopes.

Anyway, It would be a tacky thing to bet on so I am not going to speculate on who Sarah will re-marry if Todd croaks.

Snowmachine is used in BC. Ski-Doo is pronounced Skid-Doo up there.

I might have to climb into my Time-Mobile and stop this from happening.

Gotta run as I have clothes in the Washing-Mobile.
