You probably would have some personnel retention problems bringing young men from Nokeland to anywhere that there are a few laughing , smiling girls. It wouldn't take me long to bust a cap in my squad leader's ass and get me some of that western style oppression and servitude. Even when they send out a mini sub full of guys they wind up shooting each other to prevent desertion and treason.
