They're even tighter if you're into anal.

The amount of fat fucks in the US MIL is shocking. Any base I've been on (excluding FOBs, not many fatties in those, and I'm leaning towards the USMC there), from Helmand to Baquba, will have a significant number of obese shitcunts in fluorescent sashes waddling between Burger King and the chow hall.

In Iraq at the start I was in and out of many bases, one day an interpreter asked me why British soldiers were so young compared to the yanks. I had to ask why he thought they were younger - it was because the Brits were leaner, much much leaner, even those in the rear with the gear in Shaibah etc.

Fat fucking useless bastards, your military is coming apart with them. And yes, the closer you get to the fight the whiter and leaner your 'war fighters' get. Fact.

Um, aren't there fitness requirements that can have you kicked out or suspended or something?

Remedial PT probably, but all of these fatties would never be put up against the bad guys in a FOB. Bottom tier camp fodder. Basically they're getting a medal for marathon burger guzzling. KAF was probably the worst I saw, although I was in there eating my fill too whenever I could. But then I'd go for a hard run and hit the gym just as much, and I drove into Kandahar every morning in an up-armoured Land Cruiser, so I was out there as a soft target. The closest these cunts got to combat was trying to get their strides up over their fat asses.

The chow halls in the big camps had better choices for food than most restaurants, short order counters, trouser-busting desserts. I used to tank up then go home lol. I spent 3 months in Helmand in a USMC patrol base, chemical toilets and MREs only, I spent most of the time sitting in the former after eating the latter. Lost a ton of weight, the Marines were roided up and in the gym from sun up to sun down.

Marvellous scenes

Cheers

Stereo or mono, I'm not sure but Telefunken furniture size consoles came to the States in droves with returning mil families from Germany. They were huge and had these gorgeous illuminated tuners on them with all kinds of bandwidth. We could even listen to 'Mexican Radio'. By the time I ran across them they had been relegated to the basements and garages of Army families.

Anyways,

They were of course stereo (eventually) I was being facetious as usual.

and those places on the dial: Hilversum; Luxembourg; Bremen; Budapest; even Moscow...before we turned them into internet porn hubs. The innocence of the cold war, when fears of a fiery nuclear death were set aside by punch-ups at the footy, cheap lager and bad hairdos.

its a good thing to forget how to win wars. violence is a terrible tool. america should stop fighting wars entirely and focus its resources on producing non-violent policies and programs that promote wellbeing and peace.

In the USA, you never really think of soldiers as being in particularly good shape. Just average, like accountants. People right out of the military tend to get super fat right away, too. Kind of like US football football players when they stop playing.

Obviously lots of former military are trim, but it seems like overall they tend to be fatter than the average population. I'd love to see if statistics back up that very limited observation.

I don't recall ever seeing a single fat Aussie military person. I guess they might exist.
