Best of luck with that. Maybe those great British scientists can invent a unicorn next. That is, the few that are left behind when all the best ones move to the US and Germany...

Good luck with the political fallout from all of this. Do try and maintain that stiff upper lip while being made our bitch.

To the BFC's European members:

Sorry if I seem a bit dense on this subject, but...
If Britain leaves the EU, do you foresee other members following suit?
What effect will this have on NATO's effectiveness, if any?

Thanks.

Not "if" but "when". Also "how".

Seriously doubt that after Cameron's gambit and the ensuing goat rodeo May has to deal with, any ambitious politicos over here will make this an issue in the next 3 or so years. Media loves a winner but both Farage and mister piglover left the theater.

Considering they are wholly different kinds of treaties with a different setup of member states, prolly none.

Trump might have ruffled some feathers during the 2017 visit but except for the Baltic states and whoever, defense hasn't been much of a selling point over here in a long while. Agreement says we are honestly going to start paying our NATO share. Come 2024. Lots of other things 'll be needing tax money though.

Haven't been in the loop for years but I figure there still is a large number of disenfranchised voters out there. Pretty sure neither dick measuring with Russia nor threatening to leave the EU will be able to harness that democratic mass again. Who knows/cares what the next pie-in-the-sky idea will be unless it means getting paid?

Yes.

None. Clues in the first two letters.
