from his trip to the moon.

I do not think it is possible for Buzz Aldrin to do anything that is not cool.

I'd pay to watch him do his laundry.

His only fault was that he's an Air Force guy. And he would be appalled at your inability to identify different airframes. And remember, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

That's a pretty serious fault. Not sure a moon landing makes up for it to be honest.

Honestly as much as I would love to land on the moon and admire those who did that guy who jumped from a balloon at the edge of the atmosphere in the early 60s and didn't spend the rest of his life bragging about it has my total respect. Awesomist human in space video ever. In my humble opinion.

Agreed. Also, a lot more impressive than the whole Red Bull stunt. I mean, that dude had every little advantage they could squeeze out. I'm surprised someone wasn't up there holding his hand for him on the way down.

Nothing like a shit ass, 1950s technology balloon and pressure suit, and hoping your guts don't catch fire on the way down.

of course life or some facsimile of it is something we take for granted and therefore do not value much.

Well, he kind had his hand held on the way down. The guy who did it first for science was on the radio with him the whole time.

Buzz Aldrin is one of my heroes. I once dated a girl who had a nutcase dad. He said he knew for certain that the Apollo moon landings were faked. I was offended that he called Armstrong, Aldrin, Collins, and all of the other astronauts and scientists involved with the program a bunch of liars. I got into it with him about it, and tore his conspiracy argument to pieces.

I want that played at the background of my funeral or my child's baptism or something.

Of course the Moon landing hoaxers claim the video was staged.

Buzz Aldrin even becomes seriously ill in ways that are way too cool for any of us.

I hope he will be feeling better and punching people for many years to come.

Of course he is the kind of guy who just does something and finds out later in the hospital he broke a world record.

Yep. Oldest person ever to trek to the south pole, but got nailed by elevation sickness.
