Customs Border Patrol

Postby goat balls » Thu Oct 13, 2016 11:47 pm

I had to go through customs BP today.

The agent guy asked me a question. I had to get him to repeat the question three times.

He was asking me if I was a US citizen, but he couldn't speak English.

Yeah, I had on my jungle camo hat and big dark sunglasses. I usually take that stuff off but I guess I forgot this time. They looked all nervous at me.

Their dogs will alert on the smell of cigars and food. They'll deny that but it's happened to me at least three or four times now. And that's important because they will tear your vehicle to pieces and refuse to put it back together.

A good friend of mine was a big smuggler back in the day and they've torn his truck into parts on the ground and then said that he could go now. And they're not very nice about it. They'll have your carcass of a vehicle towed away, do some paperwork that makes it "legal" and then sell it off at auction and pocket the cash.

And they can't figure out why international trade is so bad.

Did the agent ask anything else? I always approach with sunglasses on my head and documents in hand.

The few Mexico to USA crossings I've done in the past couple of years have been a breeze....except the waiting in line part. One dude just wanted to know about the best spots to fish in Baja, other one kept asking about whale bones (wtf?) then let us go (probably 2 minutes total), another just said "You all cool, go ahead" after I said hi and tried handing our passports to him.

Yeah, I believe he said "have a nice day" after that, but I'm not sure.

That's a somewhat interesting idea. I'll have to think about using that.

One problem though, our masters in Washington have installed facial recognition cameras from the border to 250 miles inland near Phoenix. They've put them on roads in the middle of the desert now. I've seen them on the Tohono Odham Indian nation. Those cameras match your face with license plates, residence, DOB, bank accounts, employment etc. the full Orwellian experience.

Point being- as a non-government class, non member of the pay to play club, regular peasant and you come strolling up to mr government class employee to try and enter his country and lie about your employment or anything else? What if they have their new Orwellian system fully operational? Whoo man, they're gonna subject you to all kinds of torment.

Of course it's all for our own good you know.

Of course they know. You and I have had enough fingerprints and background checks that it really doesn't matter how "upset" or guarded we are about it.

So, fuck it. I'm going to have fun. Same reason I tell TSA agent Shanequa, "thanks komerad" and give a stiff arm salute every time the bitch tells me to remove my shoes.

Stewardess Shanequa wanted to to throw me off my flight the other day because i ignored her and didn't immediately fasten my seat belt.
