If we didn't like you we'd break into your room and take a crap in your boots. The phantom shitter. Everybody feared the phantom shitter. It was hard to get new boots in the north Arabian Sea and it wasn't funny.

For example, a clerk at Finance was not an NCO. He was a clerk and not a leader. He was a manager at best. Not all about ego. About division of adequate and specialized training and missions.
I was an E4 twice was well. I did that 3 days before the E6 board at 4yrs and 6 months which back then was flying. Always off duty shit. I used to look forward to the field and fortunatately, they never kept us out for long.
