Chile Peakbagging

Postby ReptilianKittenEater » Mon Mar 26, 2018 2:55 am

Was down in Chile to climb a few peaks in January including Ojos Del Salado. Decent place, nice weather, ok beer, just pricier than the rest of SA.

This place is hopping! I fear I missed the hey day....

I've got some good friends in Chile, I'd really like to go. I think my climbing days are behind me though. Got my name on some grade 5 first ascents around Thunder Bay, but that was eons ago. Excitement for me now is nightclubs in Port of Spain.

Actually just unloaded all my climbing gear to the local scouts, my fishing buddy is heavily involved with them. Big basement cleaning.....the stuff I found!

Hey Darc, Chile is nice but expensive compared to the rest of SA....well maybe not French Guyana. Good to hear for another climber, though I am not into the heavy duty rock climbing....too old for that.
