Motor vehicle has the speed/weight thingie going, readily available, mobility inbuilt and is as much a part of modern life as say electricity. Harder to ban than civilians owning firearms. I remember the Nice attack, horrible.
Over here some military dude went AWOL, took handgun and p90, guess with the fancy fast ultra bullets. Big manhunt, Germans helping out, Dutch secured the border, second week now. Media circus ensued saying he's a right-wing extremist with foreign deployment experience. No shots fired but quite a lot of people are pretty quick on the drawer in comparing him to the islamist terrorists. There's also a not so diverse group claiming he's some kind of hero. Right wing party lost touch with his kind of people when they became salonfähig, still get part of the blame instead of the systematic failures that allowed this all to happen in the first place.
Ah, politics.

Wouldn't he be a van Rambo?
Nah, just a troubled person on his own who stole some of his employer's tools which happen to be high-velocity firearms.Kurt wrote: I read about that guy. I suspect he is one of Belgium / NATO "Leave Behind" people who know where alot of the spider holes and weapons caches are hidden
Close but you'd need even more excess letters for it to be a proper Flemish surname.snaark wrote:Wouldn't he be a van Rambo?Kurt wrote:Is he a Rambeaux or a Raamboo?
