A problem with claiming that an election is corrupt, when it is not is that people you will need to vote wont.

Now the MAGAs who claim he is a "plant" are battling the QAnon wing who want to boycott a legitimate election.

The more mainsteam MAGAs thought they could tap into the QAnon crazy and use it for their benifit. Bet theyare regretti g this now.

Yep, I think, besides the typos from using my phone on this one, that this makes sense to people who pay attention to right wing news in the US.

So basically, Georgia has a Senate Run off. If The democrats win the senate is split 50/50 and then Vice President Harris would have the deciding vote, so the Dems would in theoretical control of the Senate, Congress and Executive offices.

That means it is important for the Republicans to hold on. This is more important for them than a losing presidential recount.

But, since the claim is that the Biden victory is corrupt there are some Trump supporters like Lin Wood (Lawyer for Trump campaign) who are telling people not to vote for the Senate race, since it is corrupted.

Meanwhile, the Republican establishment who know the claim that Biden lost and Trump won is Bullshit, but they do not want to offend Trumpers by stating that want people to vote for the Republican candidates and do not want them to "boycott" the election, since the election is legitimate.

The more "Mainstream" Trump supporters think Lin Wood is a secret agent or "plant" by the Democratic party to create chaos that they can lead to their advantage.

Basically the Republicans of Georgia have painted themselves into a corner, If the Trump claims are true, why vote at all?

If they lose an election because voter turnout was low they wont be able to blame anyone but themselves. They will try to blame others, of course. The situation I see is "The Democrats made us think the election was rigged so we would not vote"
