In the 2016 Primary the Democratic party admitted it campaigned for and made an environment favorable for Clinton. When the Sanders campaign sued the court found in favor with the DNC. That the DNC was a private, non profit entity and they were under no legal obligation to conduct a fair primary.

So technically whatever vote rigging she had done was against her own party and the Courts upheld that.
