Not treason.

The other charges are needed though.

Nifty site, wish our judicial worked as fast or communicated so clearly

https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/capitol ... ne=firearm

Seems kinda laughable but there is a reason Lady Justice wears a blindfold and has the scales as well as the sword.

No.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/january-6- ... y-reffitt/

https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/zo ... ns-charges

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 57164.html

You get the idea.

There have been, as of November 9th 85 weapons charges related to January 6th.

Some of those are lame "weapons" charges meaning if someone beat a cop with a Trump 2020 sign, then that was considered a weapon. But there were quite a few actual gun charges.

For some weird reason many people in the US do not think the protesters were armed. Not sure why people forget about Lonnie Coffman of Alabama:

3 Firearms.
hundreds of rounds of ammo.
multiple large cap magazines.
crossbow (??)
2 Machetes.
Smoke grenades.
11 molotov cocktails made with gasoline and styrofoam.

He was busted right on January 6th and questioned to see if he was "Pipe bomb guy"

So, yah, the Pipe Bomb Guy too. Those were weapons. They claim he is Antifa but he is likely a Boog.

...and Thomas Caldwell.

The "Bring Weapons from Safehouse Hotel in Virginia by boat accross the Potomac Guy"

https://www.usnews.com/news/politics/ar ... ns-by-boat

He was also charged with possessing a gun that resembled a cell phone.

This guy wanted to be there for January 6th but could not due to car trouble, so not sure if this counts as a weapons charge or not.

https://accesswdun.com/article/2021/12/ ... nst-pelosi

He did want to shoot Nancy Pelosi "in the noggin" on live TV.

This one was funny man-baby stuff cuz his parents told the judge their son "fell in with the wrong crowd" when he was in his fifties.

Meh, I dunno...

A crowd of yokels over-running Capitol security and interrupting your legislative proceedings seemed otherworldly.
There is quite a lot of public proof that there was some kind of organised effort involved in the crowd, not too up to speed with the whole thing but I haven't heard about anyone higher up in the administration getting actually charged, separation of state kinda means politicians get judged by other politicians. Some sources claim outgoing prez didn't listen to some of his inner crowd (more grifters) telling him things were turning ugly, dude seems vain enough not to have grasped the reality of it or villainous enough to not care how the dice landed, him having no real skin in it and maybe, just maybe, something to gain.

At least the court cases should be good for a couple of laughs, I predict lots of middle-aged, slightly-overweight mostly white people invoking Jeebus, lots of crying and maybe some sovcit shennanigans.

Politically, I think the Republicans have to continue to ride the moral majority/Tea party/etc's back, even if a lot of them will continue to be loud(er) and stupid(er). OTOH it's kinda sad the Democrats didn't find anyone to run but Biden, the kind of loud and stupid they attract tends to mellow out by growing up/old.

Now it is just Treason as the only missing charge.

Wonder if Trump used these?

No records of calls or evidence of tampering with those records.

So my guess is YES.
