If I were to fake my death I would go to India for "Medical Treatment" then then "Die" and be "cremated" there (India has a thriving trade in fake certificates, documents and other forms of counterfeit goods)

Then I would return as Bob Meekson and start a new life as a boring person who does not need to fake his own death in India.
