It is ok. I am prepared. Survival is a room full of dried food in buckets, guns and knowledge of my surroundings. It is not based on mutual aid by a trusting community.

Current Status:

Dow -3.12%
NASDAQ -4.17%
S&P -3.48%

Let me know when the Dow is at 20,000 and I might get interested in the stock market again.

Ended the day up by .28%

So, not quite a gain. Definitely not a crash.

I thought guns were illegal in NYC?
I'd whore myself out just one more time if I knew who to screw to get out of this grind.

Pretty much.
Law Enforcement, retired law enforcement can have them and CC them without a problem.
Politicians seem to be able to get them. My former boss, Sheldon Silver died in jail today and before he got sent away he was always printing when he came to the office.
De Basio and Bloomberg were the only Mayors who didnt carry.
If you are in a wheelchair it is fairly easy to get one. If you work with jewelery or run a pawn shop you can get one too.
Regular jackoffs like me can possess a handgun only if it is in the house and never loaded.
Oddly the most difficult thing to own legally is a pellet gun. Those are flat out banned.
Loopholes abound though. Lots of "pawn shops" registered at residential adresses.

Did you read that article in Jacobin? Before you say "Jacobin!? That pinko crap" its worth it for the stuff on "tether" alone.

The short of it is "tether" is 1 = $1 as a token. The majority of crypto purchases are done with tether. No one knows what tethers cash reserve is. So crypto is pumped by a token that sells for $1 but tether can also "print" tokens.

There have been 14 times that bitcoin crashed more than 40% since 2016.

Each recovery has taken less time than the previous. The last one took less than 3 months.

Crypto bros will be just fine.

Over the last 20 years, there was literally a single horror week that, had you invested, you would have had to wait 7 years to break even. Other than that, you were in profit pretty quickly.

But yeah, that gamestop thing was not a positive for poor people.
