How this guy survived Vietnam is a mystery. If you don't know who he was, go buy a copy of Dispatches by Michael Herr.

Also, if someone's on the BFC, I would hope they've read "Dispatches" by now. Great book.

Had never seen that photo of Sean Flynn carrying him out wounded either. The most ubiquitous one is the one of him looking like Peter Fonda on the motorbike before disappearing into the Khmer Rouge hellscape.
