They'll just have to cling to that tiger.
Jokes aside, what option do they have left that will not split the non-Democrat side?
The option they are gonna use is to start low and small. A weak point in our Democratic process (Vote Counting etc) is that it is done on the local level and those locals are easier to threaten and intimidate and are also easier to beat in an election or sometimes you can just volunteer.
A problem with the United States is that we have always been wary of voting. This is why we have never really made much of an effort to protect it (by getting rid of the electoral college).
Our local brownshirts are often Cop Adjacent on the local level so some Proud Boys threatening some tweedy eggheads in a School Board seat will not get a local response in many places and on the official level, (meaning "Cops are told to do this" because a cop told me they are told to do this) They are told to go after the anti-Brownshirts protesting the Brownshirts and leave the Brownshirts alone.
This is actually MTA / Port Authority PD policy and it is assumed to be NYPD policy and other Police forces as well but I can only confirm it is MTAPD and PATHPD policy.
Police Departments, Local School boards and city councils are all considered low hanging fruit and that would be the step to nullifying larger elections that do not go your way.
