Cuz here in the USA when there is a shooting there is no way to really know who is shooting so you gotta treat them all as armed. This way if someone reaches quickly into their pocket to reply to a text from a worried friend or family member and they get shot it will be ok for everyone 'cept the guy who got shot.

At some point armed nuttos who think that these are "Crisis Actors" will show up and also menace the victims.

We had two today. 4 dead in Texas and 3 wounded in Las Vegas.

And we are at the point now where we are like: Only 4 dead and 3 wounded in 2 shootings? Not bad.

Like a dumb kid who is proud of failing a test with a 30% rather than failing with less than 10%.

Because that is something they CAN do. I mean, how hard can it be? Beats putting themselves in the line of fire. Fleeing in an orderly fashion a building with an active shooter to be met with armed cops ordering “hands up” is overkill.
