Could of been an American variation of a Kalishnakov. You know, capable of jamming and something resembling accurate -even after the first round.
So I'll meet up with that Russian, that Brazillian, the rest of the team from Brooklyn..and we'll start shooting.

I'd hate to think what a ban on the size of that clip would do to it's capacity PB. That idea makes the BATF outlawing the import of Tigr's seem like a mercy killing.

Don't worry John O, With that scope 5 rounds is all you need. I have a 5 round mag for my AMD-65 too, If I want to take it hunting.

Here is my home-made AMD-65, man I wish I bought more kits. They are going for $225 now. They were going for 120 just a few months ago.

Those are nice rifles Infidel. I bought a yugo kit but ruined the front trunion trying to get the barrel out (the safety on this AMD-65 is from the Yugo kit). Are you Yugoslavian? Crazy how much cheaper you can get a Kalashnikov than here in the US. If only I had a boat and there were no prisons.

There are plenty of demiled guns out there all you have to do is look. I dont have any ;-) , but at one point 4 or 5 years ago you could get a sten kit for about 30 bucks. They chop it into a few pieces, but from what I hear the guts are still good. I also hear that if you had a piece of handicap tube (like you see in public bathrooms), the guts of the gun, and a the ability to weld you may have a gun. I have also heard that the moon is made from cheese, so dont listen to me.

Yea khalampre. You can still get those sten kits pretty cheap, but it still seems too difficult to make those semi-auto and legal. Those Romanian & Yugo AK kits are still cheap.

Thanks for the link coldharvest. I wish I had a milling machine and metal lathe, and I knew how to weld.

Here are 2 places to get kits.

Semi auto is easy. From what I hear they have button that slides right and left. If you want a semi auto gun just put a tack weld on it. Now legal is a whole nother story mane. I would guess the lack of numbers on it would be frowned upon. I dont really know much more about them. I have always wanted to put a FN/Fal togather from parts. For some odd reason I have never been a big AK fan. I know that they are tough, but they just seem like crap to me.
