Nice pics but those pants of yours could do with hitching up a couple of inches.

Czech VZ58 sporter. Family member bought it during the Obama gun-scare and found that they liked their Stag Arms AR a lot more, so it's pretty much mine when I'm 18. I take it to the range with said family member maybe once a month, and until then it's kept in my closet. It's loaded with stripper clips, which is a pain in the ass to say the least. California gun laws really suck

And a Steyr on top of that??? Thats my #2 most wanted firearm...

Not just a Steyr;

I'm gonna have 2 of them in a week's time... (my reason to resurrect this thread).

Here's a revolver to help resurrect an ancient thread. This gun is FUN to shoot but good luck concealing this puppy. Also need to get reloading dies and components for it... cheapest ammo I've found is $35 for a box of 50.

I'll take some pictures of my long guns at a later point in time.

What is that one chambered in? Reloading equipment is cheap if you know what you need (it can be expensive if you don't and wind up buying extra stuff you don't need in kits, etc.) Everyone should be reloading at these day's ridiculous ammo prices...plus you get what you want out of your load (instead of sissy store bought ammo) :-)

.44 Remington Magnum

All I need are the .44 dies, some more large pistol primers (used them all up making ammo for my dad), and some lead. If you've got any .44 recipes to share, I'm all ears.

I only reload 10mm, but there are plenty on the internet for sure.

It may fire slow but .50 cal with 240 grain conical bullets and 110 grain of powder.I often don't have to shoot twice.

That's an interesting flintlock there, savagesicslayer. Is it an antique or a new production gun?

Gotta really make your shot count, but it's certainly better than a pointy stick. I'm guessing it's rifled and not smoothbore, as you mention conical bullets. I'm curious, what's your effective target range with that gun? I've read of black powder firearms pushing some really serious distances.

That detailed pic certainly doesn't look blued... is it Case hardened?

I've made reasonably consistent hits on a 5 inch target at over 100 yards with this gun.Mind you at 110 grain you don't want to have to shoot more than twice at anything.the solid brass but stock makes for some uncomfortable recoil.
the rifling is 1:66.Perfect for the Bullets I fire.Yes the lock is case hardened.It's a production gun.It's less than a year old.Traditions firearms.Here's the link.

My patrol rifle (although I usually leave the launcher off of it). On the other side is the SureFire Scout light.

....and yes...that is the Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T optic mounted above the still useable iron sights and at that height it is a very natural 'heads up' (not cheek locked down on the stock) both eyes open firing position.
