Congratulations copperhead and Yorick, you passed my test. Yea, That's it. Seriously though, Thanks for pointing out my error. That is what I get for my cut and paste google knowledge. Ha-Ha.

Was I incorrect using the term Mannlicher? Still confused though, did Oswald use a Model 91 or Model 38 or some other variant?

I would really like to gain more knowledge of older military rifles and pistols. Maybe see if I can get a couple of books on older rifles. Maybe get rid of the AR-15 and buy a Mauser or and M-1.[/img]

JB, that was one piece of shit rifle used by Oswald. Assholes later bought up all the Carcanos they could find and mounted cheap-shit 4x scopes selling em for double the money as replica "JFK Assassination" weapons. Personally I'd like to track the buyers of these POS weapons and kick their asses.

I think the refurbed Carc 91/38 was rechambered for 8mm and the crummiest conversion there ever was. It sucks that such a great man should be takin down by such a crappy weapon. At least Klansmen who dropped MLK showed a little class and used the best rifle available to them.
