Nice. What's the emblem on that stock?

I know it is not this...but from here the emblem looks like a lao image from Haiti.

But after you have been to Haiti every blurry thing in a photo looks like a lao image.

That makes much more sense.

Here is a Haitian Voodoo symbol...there are lots of them so you can see how there is some resemblance when not viewed closely.

Ah, the M70. very nice.
You can tell with those bulges on the receiver it is Yugo. I bought a kit with a cut up receiver from centerfire. It had the same insignia on the front trunion I believe. I screwed up the the barrel and trunion trying to get the barrel out, so I don't have it anymore.

Still got the butt, it has a six digit serial number like yours, but doesn't have that insignia.

You sure that isn't a KLA Double eagle insignia. It is also the Albanian national symbol.

Nevermind you are right. I think the cross marks it as Serbian.

I have gone through Chattanooga a few of times. Went to the aquarium once. Maybe we can meet half way down 111 and shoot our AKs one day. I only have an AMD-65 ak variant.

Just to finalise the spotterdom, the cyrillic C's (S's to us) on the cross stand for Samo Sloga Srbina Spasava, which means Only Unity Saves the Serbs as I am sure Bradonja would have told you if I hadn't.

Lets hope it was prised from someone's cold, dead hands.

Judging by the ammount of Blood Splatters I found on several batches of AK magazines I have ,from Croatia, thats a distinct possibility.
