I just got this Indonesian BlowGun, Thought I’d test it out 'Indiana Jones pt.1' style on some of the stray around my condo.

The darts are steel tipped, I bet they would hurt like hell.

Look on the bright side, JITW, you can invite all of the BFCers around to your place and we can have fun firing your blowpipe at the golfers (or before that, builders) from your balcony, spliff in one hand, beer in another. It's an ill wind....

I was actually thinking about sneaking down there tonight and cutting the hydraulic hoses on all the equipment.

At least there are no mortars. C'mon it couldn't be as noisy as Baggers. I came home just in time for a festival and a couple of times I ended up on the floor when they lit the BIG fireworks off.

It’s just the repetitive sound of the “clanking” that heavy construction equipment makes, it is still going on now at 2:30 AM, I think they are digging into bedrock.

I got used to the mortars and rockets in Iraq, the noise outside my condo is mostly bothering me because they tore out the nice green driving range and the last thing Jakarta needs is another god damn shopping mall, especially when they build it all night long

blow darts are a lot of fun. one of my housemates had one last year and one of our favorite pass times was grilling out in the back yard, having a few beers, and seeing how many bats and birds that hung out in the trees and power lines we could take out. i was never much good at it, but the guy who owned it had a dead eye with the thing.

Yeah but you have to put about 6-10 of them in a pillow case before they'll hurt as much as a blow dart.
