Roller delayed blowback guns would be way harder to make than open bolt shitboxes like Tech-9 variants. I suppose they could just put an MP5 looking shell on their current open bolt guns, but an actual clone would be a difficult task.

(only the original variant of the scorpion was an open bolt weapon) by the time the tec-9 came out- it was a closed bolt

however; some of the baddest smg and machine pistols are open bolt (imho)
