Looks like one of the first genuine spray'n pray assault rifes in recorded history. Gotta wonder if this English flintlock was standard Royal Navy issue to sailors for storming the breeches and boarding enemy vessels whereas Marines woulda been issued long rifles instaed, betcha it was...

It wasn't used for storming breeches (beaches?)... the blunderbuss was used for fighting below decks and in tight spaces (as you say... boarding an enemy vessel).

I'd want a two barreled version;
