I for one have not used the election of Obama as a reason to indulge in new gun purchases. Decided I have enough as it is. I did get 1,000 rounds of .308 though.

The only thing I don't like about mine is the grip safety is a bit uncomfortable...I wish it was more like the Kimber grip safety.

Very nice purchase. If you are going to use it as a carry gun be sure to practice thumbing the safety off when you draw and fire at the range. I have always liked 1911s but I perfer a Glock as my carry weapon - no safety/external hammer.
