I agree with that. They're certainly resilient survivalists but their little psyches can't take very much. I find that cats have an unfortunate penchant for neuroses.

This seems to be the proper thread for this picture then...

I think El Pelon already posted this pic on another thread, but it seems rather appropriate for this one too (and I can't resist).

This is Morpheus aka Hepatitis the Sewer Cat, taking control.

You are probably referring to his alias: Morpheus has always been a messy, disheveled cat. Often he comes home with black paws, debris stuck to him and smelling 'dirty' or 'dusty' unlike my previous cat, who was a prissy princess. But here's my husband's recurring warning to me which gave Morpheus his undignified nick name: Stop snuggling with that cat! He's a sewer cat. He'll give you hepatitis!

(If you are referring to 'Morpheus': I just like that name; plus I heard that cats like names with an 's' sound.)

There's a theory that pets become what you name them, e.g. 'Rascal', "Killer' etc. So I presume that by naming my cat 'Morpheus', I sealed his fate:) He's certainly living up to his name.:)
Anybody else experiencing a connection between your cat's name and personality?

my roomate's cat, Fat George, might have started out as George, so who knows. but his dad's name is Fat Ralph, so he was probably doomed anyway.

welcome to the flag, projectalice :)
