M1A Bullpup

Man O Man do I want one of these. Looks like you could swap your rifle between configurations pretty much at will, but the price on this is pretty high.

Thoughts?

I've always been a fan of the bullpup design - it makes sense from an ergonomics point of view.
It seems quite expensive for what it is.
I am NOT a fan of that "trigger guard".
It does not appear that the stock has much adjustment to it in the important areas for shooting (They suggest a "sniper" role, and I'm sure what would work in a jam, but....)
The unit is based on a fine rifle and a fine cartridge, so that is a plus.

Hell, by the time you have a rifle into the stock, you're looking at $2k + optics + NFA stamp if the thing is <30" OAL.

You can outfit a small team with mini 30s w/foldable stocks at that price!

Stupid no edit function (or lack there of). Should read. Man oh man I want one of these. I hate all of you that got the edit function taken away. Scum I tell you, scum.

Agreed, the price is crazy. Yes the trigger guard is stupid. This still does not make me like the concept less. I think that an M1A will be my next gat purchase, but there is no telling when that will happen.

Yeah, the no editing function does suck.

Thanks, now if you could just follow me around as I post and clean up the slop that is my writing. I guess that I should spend more time looking over my posts before I hit submit, but then it would be more like turning in a paper or a report. Can I trade the ignore function that I do not use for the edit function? I know the answer to this already btw.

Clearly specify in a IM, and I will edit whatever.

Pretty cool, but I'd rather have a SOCOM.

That's the thing with these gold stocks - you need a socom first (or some form of M1/M14 variant) before you even put the thing together.

I'd also love to have a socom, by the way. Those are great hunting rifles.
