Sorry man, but it's not an SBR. It's considered a pistol and is not required to be placed on the NFA registry or pay any tax.

This an SBR.
And for the right price it's for sale.

I was changing the hand grips for the owner, but before I got them all on the battery in my camera died.

That ought to be the trick on a hot summer day. Just wear a big t-shirt. Nobody will ever notice.

No, but everyone else will have to be if you try and pull that thing off as a CCW. :-)

Thats considered a pistol, hence him saying its his new CCW (although personally I wouldnt want to be the test case if a cop decided it wasnt).
For it to be an SBR it would have to have a stock on it, or not be a virgin pistol grip (if it was manufactured with a stock or had a stock at any time it is no longer a pistol). Arent gun laws FUN?

It's good to see you have a grasp of basic NFA rules, unlike some folks.
If it had a front hand grip it would be a AOW, a $5.00 tax. Pretty silly.

The AMD 65 my daughter is cleaning has a Tapco barrel extension welded on to make it legal length.

I was just being wRong about it being my new CCW.

So when are we going to see pictures or videos of your new MAC ?
