And its about time knife manufactures started making outdoor knives with bright colored handles - I cant remember how many knives I have set down and lost in the woods and jungle

I tie a piece of flagging tape to the lanyard hole on mine.

Yeah I hear ya. I guess context dictates practicality of colour right? But I agree, the new knife if most definitely not one for specops. Yet I could still see if for submersible ops. Someone sees your knife it's probably to late for them anyways.

I am eager to get one and test it out, want to do the tree climb test. ( If it can hold your weight stepping on it as a step on a tree) I feel that the hammer handle will help you hammer it into the tree.

I know,I know...my tests are rarely conventional!

That's why my dive knife has an orange handle.

The Armchair clowns on forums hate Bear so much they will find a way to make this knife fail just so they can post pictures on forums

who needs to tighten his greasy nuts with his spork? I call FAIL.

Maybe a parmesan cheese grater, latte foam maker or a rape whistle but nobody wants to eat off of something their buddies just used to fixed their car or bike with.

MY tatical spork will have

Tiny caviar sized spoon with non aggressive fork pattern
will work as a hybrid IPad holder, coke spoon, and neck jewelery
will have a built in Facebook updater (to tell people what you are eating, as you eat it)
Moccachnio foam skimmer, tofu knife and protest symbol
Abuse free free trade organic ,recycled cruelty free shoelace holder
A pink, red, blue and stars and stripe ribbon logo
will be made by Berkeley students who are in wheel chairs due to spills from mountain biking, bungie jumping and drug overdoses
Will cost $500 and come in hemp packaging
