I wouldn't blame flipflop for being outta here. If he set up an alternate site where the shit could be shot without trolls like Penta taking over the asylum I'd follow him like a shot. Failing that, I'll start on my Red Baron model kit.

Anyway in the meantime for yours and others general edification and amazement- this is from the official guidance given to firearms licensing officers in the UK police. I was posting this before Caliban's appeared so nothing personal

Firearms for personal protection
13.72 Applications for the grant of a firearm
certificate for the applicant’s, or another’s,
protection, or that of premises, should be
refused on the grounds that firearms are not
an acceptable means of protection in Great
Britain. It has been the view of successive
Governments for many years that the private
possession and carriage of firearms for
personal protection is likely to lead to an
increase in levels of violence. This principle
should be maintained in the case of
applications from representatives of banks
and firms protecting valuables or large
quantities of money, or from private security
guards and bodyguards.

One night we were off roading on the fields straddling the Minnesota/Canadian border...didn't matter to us which side we shot the deer on. This was before Homeland Security and drones and douchebag border agents. We used to know all the American agents but now they keep mixing them up...bringing them up from the south. They're more brainwashed than northerners....see us as aliens, the same way they perceive Mexicans. Fuckers. Anyways my uncle was driving...and old dope-smoking nazi. Eventually my cousin bagged a deer and we walked up to it when my uncle blurted out,"Wouldn't you like to fuck it"?...'cuz it's ass was sticking up in the air. Come to think of it there was something sexual about it...killing brings out the testosterone. Anyways i grabbed it and threw it in the back of the truck and we drove through town with it....another poached animal. He was the mayor of the town at the time so our ass was covered.

Moose hunting is in a whole different dimension. It's like going mammoth hunting.

All of my neighbors that know me seem to like me .

We had the time last week to start baiting my hog trap, and we set it this evening.
I have two deer in the freezer and I'm not buying any pork this year for our sausage dammit.

We think It's better than most of the professional processor(s) venison sausage we've tried, I make sure it's finely ground with no grisly bits.

You guys keep telling me moose is good to eat.

How a bout purposely running a deer over while drunk driving, take the deer home skin it, and the deer starts lactating.

My friend who looks like a popular country singer says " hey ,don't waste that milk !" and starts breast feeding off the skinned doe.
