o, and i just get whatever i feel like gettin. there is no logic too it besides i think the gun rocks. that status can be accomplished via numerous avenues, including how much having that gun annoys other gun enthusiasts. so i mean if you hate my choices just roll with it bro i promise you wont have to use them if i have you over for a visit.

when they ask how you feeling
you tell em you feeling like something important died screaming
you tell em you feeling like something even more important arrived breathing
something you should probably try feeding

The Serbu is good to go, the Master Piece arms is lacking in quality control. I've had a lot of problems with mine.

Is the Serbu going to be your CCW piece?

I had a snubnose for a while. I just found it really hard to hit what I was aiming at. Traded it off for a Ruger LCP. Glocks work pretty well as point and shoot guns for me.

I've got this new load for my Glock:

200 grain XTP clocks out at 1220 fps AVERAGE through the Chrono. Puts 10 into an inch-inch and a half at 25 yards with a barrel slightly smaller than 4.5". I'm using it for deer in a little over a week.

Maybe elk next year (exceeds Colorado elk hunting centerfire pistol standards of 550 ft/lbs @50y)

I don't know - I don't remember the movie!

It's just that gun is huge so it should have a giant cartridge to go along with it.

People are getting outta control with these big bores too:

T/C contender in .600 Nitro express magnum

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lzri8dn7p0

(I used to have a T/C Encore in 30-06...No muzzle break. I had to wear gloves to shoot that gun because the recoil would dig the trigger into my fingers and they wound up cut and bleeding. I used to have a pic of the 3' fireball that came out of the 16" barrel, but don't have it anymore. I traded that one a while back.)

Dan Wesson's are pretty bad ass. I kick myself every time I see one. Soley because I had the chance to buy a model 15 with seven extra bbls for either $350.00 or $450.00. Can't remember which, but it hardly matters, it was a steal either way. Fuck I'm reliving it all over again lol

I took it shooting with my ex-gf-new-gf (related thread here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=51930) on her sister's property (her brother-in-law is a crazy gun nut with lots of guns and target setups there). my accuracy with a handgun was never spectacular, and the ruger lcr humbled me more. plus i didnt use ear protection for about 5 rounds because i wanted to see how deaf i'd be if i ever used it without ear protection. did this with some remington 130 grain middle of the line shit i think. 2 days later my left ear is still fukd lol.

but part of the fun is to overcome all these obstacles and be able to make the thing do wut you want no. friday and/or sat i'll be in the range for about 300-400 to get some feel goin for it; after that i'll have decided whether its a trade/sell or a keep (if even just to point at my roommate when im drunk so as to freak him out)
