Howdy

Postby khalampre » Wed Dec 08, 2010 5:47 pm

Well as the subject line says, Howdy. I went through a period where I pretty much shut everything off and focused my efforts on my family. We have been in the US for just over a year now and I want the hell out. I have started a doctorate and I think that I can pretty much finish it where ever I may roam. The problem is that I have been working in development (mostly ag) and it does not seem like there are a lot of opportunities to get the hell out of the US AND BRING MY FAMILY.

So, I will check in here from time to time and say hello to those that have been here a while. I will offer a quick F*&^ Off to everyone from the old board because that is how things were then. I need to be in some place where I don't understand the language and where I can lend folks a hand.

If anyone ever rolls though my part of Texas we have an extra bed.

Hey CK, Hope you and your family is doing well. I have no idea where to even start with the ag development for the same reasons you already know. Question I would have is what other countries do you favor?

Part of the reason you're so anxious to leave is, no doubt, that you've been stuck in Bryan for more than 24 hours.

Monotony doesn't even begin to scratch the surface... for your sake, I hope you escape soon.

Bryan & C/S are really whitebread boring kind of places that would drive anyone who has been out and about in the world, and wants to experience more interesting locals stir-crazy .

Saying that, I would sure love to own some acreage in the surrounding Brazos Valley.

I will do you one better. 979-571-5 three 9 six.

I have been trying to get in touch with 19d20 about some deer hunting this week, but no luck on the phone. Oh well. Always next time.

I sent you an e-mail a week or so ago - did you get it?

No I did not. I am really good about returning e-mails and calls. It most likely got nuked when I got rid of the 629 junk e-mails. Give a call.

So, you Texas folks, how's Corpus Christi? My blood keeps getting thinner as I get older. Does it end up underwater as frequently as Galveston?

I was in Corpus Christi to visit my grand-maw for turkey day. The place seems as if it is in slow decay. It may be booming, but it just does not seem as nice as it did when I was a wee lad.

If anyone has a CJ 5 body I am in need. I was given my great grand father's 54 CJ-5. I runs, but the body sat on his ranch since 1972 and looks like Swiss cheese. If anyone wants to stop by and spend a weekend welding up holes let me know.

I just got home. 19 d 20 didn't get to hunt. Homeboy has leased the rights to a some old boy from Bremond. I have to go back later to harvest one when he's not around.

I left my phone in my friends truck that went south to Matagorda, then I went up north to the ranch w/o it. Drrrrrrrrrrr
